Ingredients

2 slices of rye bread

1 avocado

1/2 cup chickpeas, mashed

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 tablespoon olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

Red pepper flakes for garnish

Instructions

  1. Toast the rye bread slices until golden and crispy.
  2. In a small bowl, mash the chickpeas with a fork or potato masher until they are mostly broken down but still slightly chunky.
