Oreo turkey cookies are a fun, festive, no-bake treat perfect for Thanksgiving. Made with fudge-covered sandwich cookies, candy corn, M&M’s, and candy eyes, these adorable turkeys are as delightful to look at as they are to eat.

Ingredients

6 fudge-covered round sandwich cookies

¼ cup chocolate chips, for melting

Candy corn

Yellow M&M’s

Candy eyes

Instructions

  1. Melt chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth; this will act as the “glue.”
  2. Place a fudge-covered cookie flat on your work surface.
  3. Dip the tips of candy corn into melted chocolate and arrange along the top back edge of the cookie to create tail feathers.
  4. Use melted chocolate to attach a yellow M&M near the center front of the cookie for the turkey’s beak/body.
  5. Add candy eyes above the M&M using small dabs of melted chocolate.
  6. Allow cookies to set at room temperature or refrigerate for 10 minutes to firm up.
  7. Serve and enjoy your festive turkey cookies.

Notes

Use different colors of M&M’s for the turkey’s beak or body.

Swap fudge-covered cookies for plain Oreos or other round sandwich cookies.

Add red candy (like red hots or icing) for a turkey “wattle.”

Use white chocolate for “glue” instead of melted chocolate chips.

Decorate with sprinkles for extra festive flair.

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days; refrigerate if kitchen is warm.
