Nutella crescent rolls are flaky, buttery pastries filled with creamy Nutella. Easy to prepare using refrigerated crescent dough, these golden-baked rolls make a delicious breakfast, snack, or dessert with optional toppings for extra flavor.
1 can refrigerated crescent rolls (8 oz)
1/3 cup Nutella or homemade Nutella
Optional: chopped hazelnuts, powdered sugar, melted chocolate chips for garnish
Preheat oven according to crescent roll package (usually 375°F/190°C).
Unroll dough and separate into triangles on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Spread ~1 tablespoon Nutella on the wide end of each triangle, leaving edges clear.
Optional: sprinkle chopped hazelnuts on Nutella.
Roll triangles from wide end to tip, forming crescents; place spaced apart on baking sheet.
Bake 10-12 minutes or until golden and puffed.
Cool slightly; optionally drizzle melted chocolate or dust powdered sugar before serving.
Add cinnamon sugar inside for warmth.
Substitute peanut or almond butter for Nutella.
Add sliced bananas or strawberries inside for fruitiness.
Drizzle caramel sauce post-baking for sweetness.
Top with toasted coconut instead of hazelnuts.
Freeze unbaked rolls on tray, then store in freezer bag; bake from frozen adding extra minutes.
