These Air Fryer Cinnamon Maple Apples are a quick and delicious dessert that combines the natural sweetness of apples with the warm flavors of cinnamon and maple syrup. The air fryer makes them perfectly tender and caramelized, creating a simple, wholesome treat. Ingredients

2 apples, peeled and diced

2 tablespoons butter

2 tablespoons pure maple syrup

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

⅛ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Peel and dice the apples, then place them in a mixing bowl.

  • Melt the butter in a small dish, then whisk in the maple syrup, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt.

  • Pour 2 tablespoons of the maple mixture over the diced apples and toss to combine, ensuring the apples are evenly coated.

  • Preheat the air fryer to 370°F (190°C).

  • Place the apple mixture in the air fryer basket and cook for 10 minutes. At the 5-minute mark, toss the apples and add 1 more tablespoon of the maple mixture.

  • Once done, toss the apples with the remaining maple mixture.

  • Serve warm with ice cream, whipped cream, or on top of pancakes. Enjoy!

Apple Variety: Use firmer apples like Honeycrisp, Gala, or Fuji for the best texture. Softer apples like Red Delicious may become mushy.
