2 apples, peeled and diced
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
⅛ teaspoon salt
Peel and dice the apples, then place them in a mixing bowl.
Melt the butter in a small dish, then whisk in the maple syrup, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt.
Pour 2 tablespoons of the maple mixture over the diced apples and toss to combine, ensuring the apples are evenly coated.
Preheat the air fryer to 370°F (190°C).
Place the apple mixture in the air fryer basket and cook for 10 minutes. At the 5-minute mark, toss the apples and add 1 more tablespoon of the maple mixture.
Once done, toss the apples with the remaining maple mixture.
Serve warm with ice cream, whipped cream, or on top of pancakes. Enjoy!
