Grilled peaches are a simple and indulgent dessert that pairs the natural sweetness of ripe peaches with smoky, caramelized flavors. Topped with cinnamon butter, ice cream, and caramel sauce, these grilled peaches are the perfect treat for any occasion.
6 peaches, firm but ripe
Olive oil (for brushing)
½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
¼ cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
For serving (optional):
Ice cream
Caramel sauce
Prepare the Peaches: Wash and cut the peaches in half, removing the pit. Lightly score the flesh if desired to help with grilling.
Make the Cinnamon Butter: Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in sugar and cinnamon until the sugar dissolves, then remove from heat.
Preheat the Grill: Preheat your grill to medium heat (about 350°F or 175°C). Brush the peach halves with olive oil to prevent sticking.
Grill the Peaches: Place the peaches cut-side down on the grill. Grill for 4-5 minutes until grill marks appear. Flip the peaches and brush the grilled side with cinnamon butter. Grill for another 3-4 minutes until tender and caramelized.
Serve: Remove peaches from the grill and serve warm, topped with ice cream and a drizzle of caramel sauce, if desired.
Storage: Store leftover grilled peaches in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
Reheating: Reheat in the microwave or on the grill for a couple of minutes.
Variations:
Add chopped nuts like pecans or walnuts for added crunch.
Add a pinch of cayenne to the cinnamon butter for a spicy kick.
Substitute honey for a lighter drizzle instead of cinnamon butter.
Use coconut oil or vegan butter for a dairy-free version.
