Graveyard Dirt Cups are spooky, fun desserts perfect for Halloween. Layers of creamy chocolate pudding, crushed Oreo ‘dirt,’ and festive decorations like ghost Peeps, Milano cookie tombstones, and mini pumpkins make these cups playful, delicious, and visually impressive.

Ingredients

38.2 ounces Oreo cookies (about 2 family-size packages)

4 cups whole milk

7.8 ounces instant chocolate pudding mix (about 2 packages)

16 ounces whipped topping, thawed

1 cup chocolate syrup, divided

Milano cookies

Black cookie icing

Ghost Peeps

Mini pumpkin candies

Halloween sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Place Oreos into a food processor in batches and pulse until they form crumbs. Transfer to a large bowl.
  2. Whisk together milk and chocolate pudding mix for 2 minutes until thickened. Fold in whipped topping until smooth.
  3. Stir in ½ cup chocolate syrup for a marbled effect. Refrigerate pudding until ready to assemble.
  4. Lay out 18 cups. Layer 2 tablespoons of Oreo crumbs at the bottom, top with just under ¼ cup pudding. Repeat layers and finish with 1 tablespoon crumbs on top.
  5. Mix remaining ½ cup chocolate syrup with leftover crumbs until clumpy. Set aside.
  6. Decorate Milano cookies with black icing to say ‘RIP’ and add along with ghost Peeps to cups, pressing gently into pudding.
  7. Top cups with clumpy cookie crumbs, mini pumpkins, and Halloween decorations.
  8. Chill until serving or serve immediately.

Notes

Use smaller cups for portion control or younger children.

Swap Milano cookies for any small chocolate cookie for different tombstone shapes.

Add edible glitter or candy bones for extra spooky flair.

Assemble in a large bowl instead of individual cups for easy serving.
