Ingredients

1 medium green cabbage, cut into thick wedges or slices

2 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp salt

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease with olive oil.

  • Prepare the cabbage: Cut the cabbage into thick wedges or slices, keeping the core intact to help the wedges hold together during roasting.

  • Season the cabbage: Arrange the cabbage wedges on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt. Coat evenly using your hands or a brush.

  • Roast the cabbage: Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping the wedges halfway through, until golden brown and tender with crispy outer layers.

  • Add the Parmesan: In the last 5 minutes of roasting, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the cabbage and return to the oven to melt and become golden.

  • Serve: Remove from the oven and serve hot. Enjoy the crispy edges and tender interior!
