This Easy Sautéed Zucchini recipe is a quick, flavorful side dish perfect for any meal. With butter, garlic, and a hint of heat from crushed red pepper, this sautéed zucchini offers a deliciously tender texture and savory taste. It’s light, satisfying, and a simple way to add more vegetables to your plate.
3 medium zucchini, cut into half moons
2 tbsp butter, salted
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tsp minced garlic
½ tsp crushed red pepper (adjust to taste)
Salt and pepper to taste
Heat the butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add minced garlic and crushed red pepper. Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add zucchini slices, coating them in the butter and oil mixture.
Season with salt and pepper and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender and slightly browned.
Adjust seasoning if needed, then serve hot.
For extra flavor, top with parmesan cheese, fresh herbs, or lemon juice just before serving.
To avoid mushy zucchini, sauté until tender but still slightly crisp.
This dish can be made ahead and stored for up to 3 days in the fridge, but it’s best enjoyed fresh.
