Easy Instant Pot Lasagna Pasta is a quick, one-pot meal that combines ground beef, bow tie pasta, tomato sauce, and creamy cheeses in the Instant Pot for a comforting lasagna-inspired dinner. This fuss-free recipe saves time and cleanup while delivering rich, hearty flavors perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

2 pounds ground beef

16 ounces bow tie pasta

4 cups water

48 ounces tomato sauce

1 tablespoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

8 ounces ricotta cheese

3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided

Instructions

  1. Set Instant Pot to sauté mode; brown ground beef, breaking it up until fully cooked. Drain excess fat if needed.

  2. Stir in oregano, Italian seasoning, tomato sauce, and water. Mix well.

  3. Add bow tie pasta, pressing gently into the sauce so it is mostly submerged. Do not stir.

  4. Seal Instant Pot lid; cook on high pressure for 5 minutes.

  5. Perform quick release when cooking completes.

  6. Open lid and stir pasta gently.

  7. Stir in ricotta cheese and 2 cups mozzarella until creamy.

  8. Sprinkle remaining 1 cup mozzarella on top; close lid (no sealing) and let sit a few minutes to melt cheese.

  9. Serve warm.

Notes

Substitute ground turkey or Italian sausage for beef.
