4 cups shredded chicken (rotisserie preferred)

1 (12 oz) bag frozen mixed vegetables

2 cups whole milk

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

  • In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, frozen mixed vegetables (no thawing needed), cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, melted butter, whole milk, and seasonings. Mix well.

  • Pour mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.

  • Prepare biscuit mix according to package instructions, substituting milk for water as directed.

  • Drop spoonfuls of biscuit dough evenly over the chicken mixture.

  • Bake uncovered for 30-35 minutes until biscuit topping is golden and cooked through.

  • Let cool a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Substitute biscuit mix with your favorite biscuit dough.

Use fresh vegetables like peas, carrots, and corn instead of frozen.

Sprinkle shredded cheese on biscuit topping before baking for extra cheesiness.

Add herbs like thyme or rosemary for added aroma.
