These Easy Baked Chicken Nuggets, made with canned chicken, are a quick, tasty solution for busy days. Combining mozzarella, Parmesan, and flavorful seasonings, they make a delicious, crispy nugget that’s perfect for meals or snacks.

Ingredients

1 (12.5oz) can chicken breast (drained)

1 large egg

1/3 cup shredded mozzarella

3 tbsp grated Parmesan

Optional seasoning (garlic powder & black pepper)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the drained canned chicken, egg, shredded mozzarella, grated Parmesan, and any optional seasonings (such as garlic powder and black pepper). Mix well until fully combined.
  3. Using your hands or a spoon, form the mixture into small nugget shapes and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the nuggets are golden brown and crispy on the outside.
  5. Remove from the oven and let them cool for a couple of minutes before serving.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheat in the microwave or in a 350°F (175°C) oven for about 10 minutes until warmed through.

For a crunchier exterior, dip the nuggets in breadcrumbs before baking.

If you’d like a spicier version, try adding a pinch of cayenne pepper or red pepper flakes to the mixture.
