Ingredients

1 box Betty Crocker Chocolate Fudge Cake Mix plus ingredients needed on package (3 eggs, 1 ¼ cups water or milk, ½ cup vegetable oil)

½ cup milk chocolate chips, melted

1 stick (½ cup) butter, softened

8 ounces full-fat cream cheese, softened

2 cups powdered sugar

½ cup cocoa powder

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

15 Oreos, crushed

12 packs gummy worms

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven and prepare cupcake pan with liners according to cake mix instructions.
  2. Prepare cake batter according to package directions and bake; cool completely.
  3. For frosting, beat butter and cream cheese until smooth. Add melted chocolate, powdered sugar, cocoa powder, and vanilla; mix until creamy and fluffy.
  4. Frost cooled cupcakes generously.
  5. Sprinkle crushed Oreos on top to resemble dirt.
