This Chocolate Drizzle Strawberry Dream Ice Cream is a creamy, no-churn dessert that combines the freshness of strawberries with a decadent chocolate drizzle. Easy to make with just a few ingredients, this homemade treat is perfect for a hot day or whenever you’re craving something cool and indulgent. No ice cream maker required!
2 cups heavy whipping cream (cold)
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
1 ½ cups fresh strawberries, hulled
2 tablespoons sugar (for the strawberries)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (for drizzle)
1 teaspoon coconut oil or butter (optional, for silky drizzle)
Sweeten the strawberries: Mash hulled strawberries with 2 tablespoons of sugar. Let them sit for 10-15 minutes to release juices, creating a syrupy consistency.
Mash further: Mash the strawberries more or blend them to your desired texture—chunky or smooth.
Whip the cream: In a large mixing bowl, beat the cold heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form (3-5 minutes).
Combine the base: Gently fold in the sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and mashed strawberries until just combined.
Transfer to a pan: Pour the mixture into a loaf pan or airtight container. Spread evenly.
Freeze: Cover and freeze for 4-6 hours or overnight until set.
Make the drizzle: Microwave semi-sweet chocolate chips with 1 teaspoon of coconut oil or butter in 20-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
Drizzle and serve: Once the ice cream is fully frozen, drizzle melted chocolate on top. Optionally, swirl the drizzle through the ice cream for extra indulgence.
Enjoy: Scoop and enjoy your homemade chocolate drizzle strawberry ice cream!
Add-ins: Try adding chocolate chips, graham crackers, or nuts to the base before freezing for more texture.
Different drizzle: Use milk or white chocolate for a twist on the drizzle.
