Fresh fruit skewers dipped in glossy melted chocolate a festive German treat often enjoyed at Christmas markets or fairs.

Ingredients

  • 6 oz (170 g) chocolate (dark, milk, or white)
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • 2 cups fresh fruit (bananas, apples, grapes, berries, pineapple, etc.)
  • 4 wooden skewers

Instructions

  1. Melt chocolate with coconut oil in a double boiler, stirring until smooth and glossy.
  2. Wash and cut fruit into bite-sized pieces as needed.
  3. Thread fruit pieces onto wooden skewers.
  4. Dip each skewer into melted chocolate, coating to your preference.
  5. Place skewers on a parchment-lined tray or stand upright until chocolate firms up.
  6. Serve once the chocolate has set.
