Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

1/2 cup breadcrumbs

1/4 cup milk

1 large egg

1 small onion, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1/2 cup ketchup

1 tablespoon mustard

1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese

1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

  • In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, and mustard.

  • Take a portion of the meat mixture (about 2 tablespoons), flatten it into a patty, and place a teaspoon of grated cheddar cheese in the center.

  • Fold the edges around the cheese, sealing it inside, and form a bite-sized ball. Repeat until all the mixture is used.

  • Place the stuffed meatballs on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through and golden brown.

  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.

Notes

For added flavor, you can substitute cheddar cheese with mozzarella, pepper jack, or other cheeses of your choice.

If you prefer a spicier version, add crushed red pepper flakes or hot sauce to the meat mixture.

For a lighter version, swap ground beef with turkey or chicken.

You can store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
