Cheese Puffed Snacks are a crunchy, cheesy treat made with a blend of cheddar and mozzarella cheeses, almond flour, and flavorful spices. These low-carb, gluten-free bites are perfect for snacking, appetizers, or party treats.
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 large egg
1/4 cup almond flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, combine the cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, black pepper, and salt.
Add the egg to the mixture and stir to combine.
Gradually add almond flour and mix until the mixture is thick and slightly sticky.
Scoop tablespoon-sized portions and roll them into balls. Place them on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy on the outside.
Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven to restore crispiness.
For a crunchier texture, add ground flaxseed or bake slightly longer.
