Cheese Puffed Snacks are a crunchy, cheesy treat made with a blend of cheddar and mozzarella cheeses, almond flour, and flavorful spices. These low-carb, gluten-free bites are perfect for snacking, appetizers, or party treats.

Ingredients

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon paprika

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 large egg

1/4 cup almond flour

1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, black pepper, and salt.

  • Add the egg to the mixture and stir to combine.

  • Gradually add almond flour and mix until the mixture is thick and slightly sticky.

  • Scoop tablespoon-sized portions and roll them into balls. Place them on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart.

  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy on the outside.

  • Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven to restore crispiness.

For a crunchier texture, add ground flaxseed or bake slightly longer.
