Caramel Apple Fudge blends rich caramel, sweet apple, and creamy fudge for a perfect fall treat. With hints of cinnamon and nutmeg, this indulgent dessert is simple to make and irresistibly delicious.

Ingredients

2 cups sugar

1 cup brown sugar

3/4 cup unsalted butter

2/3 cup evaporated milk

1 cup apple cider

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

2 cups white chocolate chips

7 ounces marshmallow cream

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup dried apple slices, chopped

Instructions

  • Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper or lightly grease it. Set it aside.

  • In a large saucepan, combine the sugar, brown sugar, butter, evaporated milk, and apple cider. Stir over medium heat until the sugar dissolves and the butter melts.

  • Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring constantly. Once it starts to boil, reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  • Add the cinnamon, nutmeg, white chocolate chips, and marshmallow cream. Stir until the mixture becomes smooth and the chocolate chips have melted.

  • Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract and chopped dried apple slices.

  • Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.

  • Let the fudge cool at room temperature for about 2 hours, or refrigerate for quicker setting. Once set, cut into squares and serve.

Notes

Storage: Store leftover fudge in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week. For longer storage, refrigerate for up to 2 weeks or freeze wrapped individual squares.

Variations:

Apple Pie Fudge: Use apple pie spice instead of cinnamon and nutmeg.

Caramel Swirl: Drizzle caramel sauce over the fudge before setting.

Nutty Version: Add chopped pecans or walnuts for crunch.

Substitutes: You can use regular milk instead of evaporated milk, and swap the white chocolate chips for dark or milk chocolate chips.
