Caprese Skewers with Balsamic Glaze are an elegant, bite-sized appetizer combining juicy cherry tomatoes, creamy mozzarella balls, and fresh basil leaves, all drizzled with a sweet and tangy homemade balsamic reduction. Ingredients

Cherry tomatoes (ripe)

Small mozzarella balls (bocconcini)

Fresh basil leaves

Olive oil

1 cup balsamic vinegar

Salt and pepper

Instructions

  • Make the balsamic glaze by simmering balsamic vinegar in a small saucepan over medium heat until reduced by half and syrupy (10-15 minutes). Let cool.

  • Thread one cherry tomato, one mozzarella ball, and one basil leaf onto small skewers or toothpicks. Repeat for desired number of skewers.

  • Arrange skewers on a serving platter.

  • Drizzle lightly with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.

  • Just before serving, drizzle the cooled balsamic glaze over the skewers.
