Broiler S’mores are a quick and easy way to enjoy the classic campfire treat at home. With toasted marshmallows, rich chocolate, and crunchy graham crackers, these s’mores are perfect for any occasion and ready in just a few minutes.

Ingredients

12 graham cracker squares

3 chocolate bars, broken into pieces (or 1⅓ cups chocolate chips)

12 jumbo marshmallows

Instructions

  1. Preheat your broiler to high.
  2. Arrange 6 graham cracker squares on a baking sheet, placing them flat side up.
  3. Break the chocolate bars into pieces and place them evenly on top of the graham crackers. If using chocolate chips, just sprinkle them on top.
  4. Place one jumbo marshmallow on top of each chocolate-covered graham cracker.
  5. Put the baking sheet under the broiler and cook for 1-2 minutes, or until the marshmallows are golden brown and puffed up. Be sure to watch them closely to avoid burning.
  6. Once the marshmallows are toasted, remove the baking sheet from the oven.
  7. Top each s’more with another graham cracker square, pressing gently to sandwich the marshmallow and chocolate together.
  8. Let the s’mores cool for a minute or two before serving and enjoying the melty goodness.

Notes

If using regular-sized marshmallows, use 2-3 per s’more and adjust the cooking time to toast them evenly.

For a salty twist, sprinkle some sea salt on the chocolate before broiling.

To make these s’mores gluten-free, use gluten-free graham crackers.

Be sure to watch the marshmallows closely while broiling to avoid burning.
