This Breakfast Sandwich is a hearty and flavorful way to start your day, featuring savory turkey sausage, scrambled eggs, creamy avocado, and melted pepper jack cheese, all served on buttered, toasted bread.

Ingredients

3 Jones Dairy Farm No Antibiotics Ever Turkey Sausage links

3 eggs

Salt and pepper to taste

Butter (for cooking and spreading)

2 small slices of bread, buttered on one side

2 slices of pepper jack cheese

½ small avocado, sliced

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a little butter. Cook the turkey sausage links, turning occasionally, until fully cooked and browned, about 5-7 minutes. Remove them from the skillet and set them aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add a bit more butter if needed and crack the eggs into the skillet. Season with salt and pepper and scramble the eggs, cooking until they’re fully set and slightly fluffy. Remove from heat.
  3. In a separate pan or on a griddle, toast the buttered slices of bread, buttered-side-down, until golden brown and crispy.
  4. Once the bread is toasted, place a slice of pepper jack cheese on each slice of bread to melt slightly.
  5. To assemble the sandwich, layer the cooked turkey sausage, scrambled eggs, sliced avocado, and the second slice of bread with melted cheese.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy your hearty and flavorful breakfast sandwich!

Notes

For a spicier sandwich, add a few slices of jalapeños or a drizzle of hot sauce.

Add spinach, arugula, or tomato slices for more veggies.

Try cheddar or Swiss cheese instead of pepper jack for a different flavor.

This sandwich is best served fresh, but you can store the sandwich components separately for up to 1 day and reheat before assembling.
