Big Mac Wraps offer a portable and quick alternative to the classic Big Mac. Packed with seasoned beef, melted American cheese, crunchy lettuce, and a homemade special sauce, these wraps deliver all the iconic flavors of a Big Mac without the bun. Whether for lunch, dinner, or a snack, this easy-to-make recipe is customizable and satisfying for any fast food craving.

Ingredients

For the Special Sauce:

½ cup mayonnaise

2 tbsp finely chopped dill pickles

1 tbsp yellow mustard

For the Wraps:

1 lb ground beef

1 tbsp onion powder

1 tbsp garlic powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

4 large flour tortillas

4 slices American cheese

1 cup shredded lettuce

¼ cup finely chopped onions (optional)

¼ cup diced pickles (optional)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Special Sauce: In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, chopped dill pickles, and yellow mustard. Stir well until the ingredients are fully blended. Set aside.
  • Cook the Beef: In a skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook, breaking it up into crumbles, until browned and fully cooked, about 6-8 minutes. Drain any excess grease. Season with onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Assemble the Wraps: Lay the tortillas flat on a clean surface. Spread a generous amount of the special sauce on each tortilla. Then, evenly distribute the cooked beef over the tortillas.
  • Add Cheese: Place one slice of American cheese on top of the beef. Let it melt slightly from the heat of the meat.
  • Add Veggies: Top with shredded lettuce, chopped onions, and diced pickles if desired.
  • Roll and Serve: Fold in the sides of each tortilla and roll it up tightly. Slice the wraps in half and serve immediately.

Notes

Meat alternatives: Swap ground beef for ground turkey, chicken, or plant-based crumbles for a leaner or vegetarian option.

Cheese options: Feel free to replace American cheese with cheddar, mozzarella, or Swiss for a different flavor.

Spicy version: Add jalapeños or hot sauce to the special sauce for an added kick.

Storage/Reheating: Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days. Reheat in the microwave for 30-45 seconds or until heated through.
