Quick, savory, and creamy mini cheese balls made with just five ingredients. Bite-sized, slightly spicy, and perfect for parties, holidays, or casual snacking.

Ingredients

2 large carrots, grated (about 1 cup)

8 oz cream cheese, at room temperature

1 cup (2 oz) shredded cheddar cheese

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine cream cheese and Worcestershire sauce until smooth.
  2. Add shredded cheddar cheese, grated carrots, and cayenne pepper. Mix until fully combined.
  3. Scoop small portions of the mixture and roll into bite-sized balls using clean hands or a small scoop.
  4. Arrange the cheese balls on a tray or plate. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to firm up before serving.
  5. Serve as-is or with crackers, fresh veggies, or toothpicks for easy snacking.

Notes

Roll the cheese balls in chopped nuts, fresh herbs, or crushed crackers for extra texture.

Swap cayenne pepper for smoked paprika for a milder, smoky flavor.

Use pepper jack cheese instead of cheddar for a spicier version.

Make one large cheese ball instead of minis and serve with crackers.

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. No reheating required.
