These 2-ingredient Air Fryer Donut Bites are light, fluffy, and coated in a sweet cinnamon-sugar mixture. They’re quick to make, require minimal ingredients, and are a healthier alternative to deep-fried donuts, perfect for breakfast or a snack.

Ingredients

140 g (1 cup) self-raising flour

140 g (5 oz) sweetened Greek yogurt

3 tablespoons granulated sugar

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Optional: Melted chocolate for drizzling

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the self-raising flour and sweetened Greek yogurt. Stir until the mixture forms a dough. If the dough is too sticky, add a little extra flour.
  2. Divide the dough into small bite-sized pieces, rolling each piece into a ball.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 180°C (350°F).
  4. Arrange the dough balls in the air fryer basket, ensuring they don’t touch each other for even cooking.
  5. Air fry for 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed up.
  6. While the donut bites are cooking, mix the granulated sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl for the coating.
  7. Once the donut bites are done, immediately toss them in the cinnamon-sugar mixture until they’re fully coated.
  8. (Optional) Drizzle with melted chocolate for an extra indulgent treat.

Notes

Store any leftover donut bites in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days. You can microwave them for a few seconds to warm them up.

These donut bites can be frozen for up to 1 month. Reheat in the air fryer at 160°C (320°F) for 4-5 minutes.

If you prefer a sweeter donut, use sweetened Greek yogurt; for a less sweet version, use plain Greek yogurt and adjust sugar levels.

You can make these gluten-free by substituting the self-raising flour with a gluten-free flour blend.

For extra indulgence, drizzle with melted chocolate after coating in cinnamon sugar.
